When I register, am I automatically reserving my hotel room?
A: No you must book your own hotel
room. We suggest doing is as early as possible to get the special
LegalTech rate for the block of rooms we reserve.

Do I get a confirmation when I register?
A: When you register via our website, you will receive an automatic email confirmation as soon as the form is processed. When you register via phone, fax or mail, you will receive a postcard in the mail approximately 10 days prior to the show.

How late can I register for the show?
A: You can register as late as on-site, even though each show does have a cutoff date for website, phone and fax registrations This date is used so that we can make the checking process as easy as possible for our attendees. When you register at least 4 weeks in advance you avoid all lines, because you receive a postcard with your individual identification code in the mail. When you arrive you need only to go to the speedbadge counter and scan the postcard and you will receive your badge without waiting in line.
Q: How many people are limited for Team Pass?
A: You can have as many people from your legal team attend as needed; please visit the registration page for the pricing structure. Once you have registered we only ask that you submit all names for processing at one time.

What the cancellation policy?
A: In the event of a cancellation, registrations fees will be refunded (less a 25% cancellation fee) if notice is received after the cancellation date. The fee will be applied toward the next LegalTech show or legal event. Substitutions may be made at anytime by calling 212-457-7905.
Q:Does ALM offer Tuition Assistance to attend LegalTech?
A: Tuition assistance is based on need and is available upon application for attorneys in all states. A fee waiver or fee reduction between 25%-50% will be given to public interest lawyers, government lawyers and recently admitted solo practitioners. Q: Is there a dress code?
A: Yes, business to business casual.
Q: How do I obtain CLE credit?
A: LegalTech has been approved for CLE/MCLE credit in most states. Each LegalTech event will list credit hours available. All paperwork is available on site, and you turn in your paperwork at the end of the event.
Q: Is CLE offered in other states besides NY for LegalTech?
A: Yes CLE is offered in other states beside NY. Please contact our CLE administrator Lazette Jackson directly at 212-457-7912, to verify if we are offering CLE credit for your state and if so how many credits.
Q: Is there an additional charge for CLE credit?

No, there is no additional charges for CLE credit
Q :How do I obtain my CLE Credit
A:
You should pick up a CLE form at the CLE desk and fill it out accordingly. You must sign in and out to every session that you attend in addition to having your badge scanned. CLE accreditation is based on you signing in and out to all of the sessions that you attend and credits will be reduced if you do not sign in to each of the sessions that you attend. Once you are completely done with the conference, please hand in your form at the CLE desk. We are not responsible for timely filing of certificates for forms that are submitted after the conference.
Q: Who reports the CLE credits to the CLE boards?
A:
ALM reports the CLE credits to all states that the conference has been approved for and that are not Self reporting states. Once we report and or verify your credits you will receive a signed copy of the form in the mail.
Q: How long will it take before my CLE credits are approved?
A: If you submitted your form before you left the conference it takes about 4-6 weeks. However special arrangements can be made if you have an upcoming filing deadline if you speak directly with our CLE administrator Lazette Jackson at 212-457-7912 or email her at ljackson@alm.com
Q: Which sessions are CLE approved?
A: As we get closer to the dates of the show will make note of which sessions are CLE eligible.
Q: If my badge gets scanned at the CLE eligible sessions, do I still have to sign in?
A: Yes you still must sign in to the sessions in addition to having your badge scanned.
Q: I was a speaker at the conference, if I want to go to other sessions as an attendee, do I still have to sign in?

yes, you must sign into all of the sessions that you are attending to get the correct amount of credits
Q: Can I get a CLE form prior to the conference
A:
No, CLE forms are not given out prior to the conference.
Q: I forgot to pick up a CLE form at the conference, How can I get one?
A: Please contact the CLE administrator Lazette Jackson at 212-457-7912/ ljackson@alm.com and she will work with you to get a form and assist you with your CLE credits.
Q: Can I apply for credits in more than one state?
A: Yes you may apply for credit in more than one state, however you should check with the CLE administrator Lazette Jackson at 212-457-7912/ ljackson@alm.com, to see if each of your states have been applied to for CLE credits. You only need to fill out one form if you are applying to multiple states. There is an area on the form where you can put multiple states.
Q: How many CLE forms must I fill out if I am attending multiple days at the conference?
A: You only need to fill out one form for the entire event. Each day has a section that you can fill in per day.
Q: Do I need to write out the entire name of the sessions that I attend?
A: No each of the sessions have code names (Ex-AT1, LT2, TEM3 etc). Just write in the session code on the CLE form, no additional information is necessary
